We are at the end of the Camera Club Season, which I recognize as one of significance with many achievements and successes. I want to thank my first Vice President Len Rachlin for all the hard work of hiring judges for our competitions. And to our Treasurer Carol Mayr for keeping the books and our finances afloat. Also to our 2nd VP Herb Goldberger for keeping us “Oh! so very social” with Mall Lunch Meetings and Photo Shoot opportunities. And to our Secretaries, Mona Wexler and Shelley Levine for taking copious notes at our business meetings. Thank you all, and to every member who has participated in our Critiques, Workshops and Competitions, your efforts are to be commended. Without you there would be no Staten Island Camera Club.

Congratulations to our EOY winners whose images are showcased here in this edition of the Clix. While there were some surprises I do think everyone who participated in the competition deserves a shout out for putting their best images forward. Since everyone can not win in a contest like this one, it was remarkable to see so many beautiful images being presented for judging. It made it hard for the judge to choose. To those who did not win, do not be discouraged. There is always next year’s club season where you may prevail, and have next year’s best of the season image. Don’t forget to join us for our summer program, Herb is putting together a number of activities and lunch-time meetings.
