We rapidly are coming to the end of month 3 of the camera club season and the end of 2024. Hopefully you are enjoying this as much as I am. We have witnessed some pretty amazing images in our monthly competitions. I would be remiss to not congratulate some very successful members who are continuing to score big. Besides our regular high scorers the most notable members this month are: Scott Allen, Paul Ruben, Shelly Lavine, Maryanne Bury, Joe Sorge and Robert Mantz. See their wonderful images in this month’s Clix.
As we approach the Holiday Season, many of us relish in the thought that it is a great time of year to gather friends and family to enjoy good times and sumptuous holiday meals. It is also a good time to create some memorable images of those gatherings and possibly a few well crafted family portraits. Especially portraits of those who we endear the most. Grand children, parents and friends make perfect subjects as they enjoy the traditions and holiday festivities we celebrate at this time of year (see page 9.)
Don’t forget that our club will be celebrating the holiday season on December 19th at The New China Buffet at 7 PM. No reservation is necessary and you and anyone you wish to accompany you can join us for this dining out occasion. See details in your emails from Herb. Please have a very happy and enjoyable Thanksgiving, and all of the festive season that follows. We will be resuming the Camera season in January 2025 with a robust number of Calendar events.
